Privacy Policy

Effective 17 August 2026 Applies to socialstat.us Contact info@socialstat.us

The short version. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or tracking scripts of any kind. We do not ask you for personal information here and we do not build a profile of you. The only data that exists because of your visit is the standard server log kept by our hosting provider, and any email you choose to send us.

01Who we are

This website is operated by SOCIAL STATUS APPS INC., a Delaware corporation (entity no. 10711504), referred to below as “we”, “us” or “the company”. We are the party responsible for this site and for answering questions about it.

02What this policy covers

This policy covers this website only — the pages served at socialstat.us. It is a corporate information site: there is no account to create, no sign-in, no comment box, no newsletter and no purchase.

It does not cover our mobile application, which is still in development. That app will be published with its own privacy policy describing its own data practices, and that policy will be available from the App Store listing and from this site before the app is released. We deliberately make no claims here about the internals of software we have not shipped yet.

03Information we collect

On this website, we collect no personal information from you directly. There are no forms, no trackers and no scripts that identify you or your device.

Server logs

Like effectively every website, the servers that deliver these pages record technical request data. Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., generates and retains standard access logs on our behalf, which typically include the IP address making the request, the time of the request, the page or file requested, the HTTP status returned, and the browser user-agent string.

These logs exist to deliver the site, keep it available, and defend it against abuse such as denial-of-service traffic. We do not use them for analytics, we do not use them to profile visitors, we do not enrich them with data from other sources, and we do not sell or share them. They are retained and deleted according to our hosting provider's operational practices rather than being copied into any system of ours.

Nothing else

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or payment details through this site, because nothing here asks for them.

04Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. It contains no analytics package, no advertising or conversion pixels, no social media embeds, no session recording, no fingerprinting, and no third-party tags. Nothing here writes to your browser's local storage or session storage.

Because we do not track you, there is nothing for a “Do Not Track” signal or a cookie banner to switch off. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before the change goes live, and any consent required by law will be requested at that time.

05Third parties we rely on

Exactly one third party is involved in delivering this site to you, and it is worth naming explicitly:

The typefaces are served from this site, not from anyone else's. The two webfonts used here are stored on our own domain and delivered by Vercel along with the pages themselves. Loading a page from this site therefore makes no request to any other company — not for fonts, not for scripts, not for images, not for anything else.

We use no other third-party service on this website: no tag manager, no A/B testing tool, no chat widget, no video embed, no advertising network, no external font service.

06If you email us

The addresses published on this site — info@socialstat.us and support@socialstat.us — reach mailboxes we operate. If you write to us, we necessarily receive and hold what you send: your email address, your message, and anything you attach.

We use that correspondence only to read and answer it, and to keep a record of the exchange for as long as it is useful for support, legal or accounting reasons. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not sell or share your correspondence. Please do not send us sensitive personal information by email; it is not a secure channel.

07Children

This website is a corporate information site intended for a general adult audience. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone through it — including children. Our applications are designed and rated for users aged 17 and over. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, write to info@socialstat.us and we will delete it.

08Our forthcoming app

Our first mobile title is in development for iOS and has not been released. When it is published it will ship with its own privacy policy, written against what the app actually does, together with the data disclosures Apple requires on the App Store product page.

Until then we are not going to describe its data practices in detail, because doing so before the software is finished would be guesswork dressed up as a commitment. What we will say now is the design intent we hold ourselves to: an identity built on a chosen avatar rather than a photograph of your face, no requirement to upload selfies, collection kept to what a feature genuinely needs, and reporting and blocking tools available in the places people need them.

09Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal information a company holds about you — typically the right to ask what is held, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to complain to a supervisory authority.

Because this site collects nothing beyond the hosting logs described above, in practice the only personal information we are likely to hold about you is an email exchange you started. Write to info@socialstat.us and we will tell you what we hold and delete it on request, subject to any record we are legally required to keep. We will not charge you for asking, and we will not treat you differently for exercising a right.

10Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will replace this page and update the effective date at the top. Material changes — for example introducing any form of analytics — will be described in plain language rather than buried in a redraft. The version you are reading is effective as of 17 August 2026.

11How to reach us

Questions about this policy, or about privacy at the company generally, go to info@socialstat.us. Product and account questions, once there is a product to have an account in, go to support@socialstat.us. Postal mail reaches us at the Dover address in section 01.
